Portion Guide
One important thing to know when it comes to ordering your cake, is how much cake do you actually need? The size of your cake should be determined by the amount of portions you require.
Typically, we size cakes based on two different portion sizes. A dessert portion is 2″ x 1″ slice (for a cake around 5″ high). A party/wedding portion is half of that at 1″ x 1″. For tall cakes over 8″ that means you can cut each slice in half again to increase portions (please see the cutting guide at the bottom of the page).
If you would like a large tiered cake, but your portion requirements are small, we can add decorated dummy cakes into the design.

You can view the flavour guide to see our popular choices, and also help decide what size you need if you are unsure. We do have set price cakes if you don’t have a specific design in mind.
